Overview
Named for the way its peaks look like a clenched fist, the Knuckles Range is part of the Central Highlands World Heritage Site and one of the island’s best trekking areas. Trails lead through cloud forest, cardamom plantations, open grasslands and tiny farming villages where life follows the rice harvest.
We arrange guided day hikes or an overnight trek with a village homestay, including swims in natural river pools and the viewpoint at Pitawala Pathana. It is quiet, green and wonderfully remote, only a couple of hours from Kandy.
